June 2016

Dear CenterPoint Archery Consumer:

We have recently discovered a potential safety problem with the rope cocking device packed with our CenterPoint Sniper 370 Crossbows (Model: AXCS185CK) shipped out from our facility between December 2015 and February 2016.

The tabbed hooks attaching the rope cocking device to the crossbow string can break and cause it to recoil if the hooks are placed on the string in the upward position and they come in contact with the crossbow’s frame. The potential breakage described above presents a remote chance of injury to the user, especially the upper body, arms, and face. Possible injuries could include a sharp “sting,” contusions, and lacerations.

If your crossbow’s serial number begins with O15, the rope cocking device packed with your crossbow may have this problem. If your crossbow has such a serial number, please stop using it and fill out the form below for a replacement rope cocking device. Of course, this exchange will be done at no charge to you.

If you need assistance completing this form, please call us at 1-866-726-1122 or visit centerpoinarchery.com/safety/safety-notices.

Please note: The serial number is located on the right side of the crossbow above the trigger.

We appreciate your assistance and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
